Why are my German product images displayed on amazon.com?

To solve this issue, you should upload different images for the German and US marketplaces. Amazon uses a global image set that is displayed by default on all marketplaces, unless specific local images have been uploaded.
Here are the steps you can take to solve this problem:
  1. Log in to your Seller Central account.
  1. Go to "Inventory" and select "Manage Inventory".
  1. Search for the product you want to edit and click on the "Edit" button.
  1. Go to the "Product Image" section. Here you can upload images for your product.
  1. Upload your USA (global) images here, which should be displayed on all marketplaces (using the product editing function).
It is important to note that the local image upload feature is only available for the marketplace where you have registered your account. This means that as a non-US account owner, you cannot upload local images for the US marketplace.
Please note that all images must comply with Amazon's product image standards.
NOTE: YOU WILL HAVE TO DO THIS FROM YOUR GERMAN ACCOUNT.
  1. To display your German images again in your German listing:
Catalog > Upload Images
Follow Amazon's instructions:
Catalog > Upload Images > Bulk Image upload >> upload here> Country specific upload> select: Germany

When you have uploaded the country-specific images (German images) for your German listing, the global images (US images) you uploaded in steps 1-5 will automatically be replaced for your German listing.
Result: Your USA images (global images) will be displayed on amazon.com and your German images (country-specific images) will be displayed on amazon.de.
